About Me

- CURRENT MISSION:

Reaching old being the errant that I am, wake up smiling, seize every moment, try new things, be bold, amaze myself, take chances, be optimistic, embrace change, be legendary, live my life with abandon, have an open mind, be fearless, throw caution to the wind....

- ABOUT ME

Aloha, my name is Juan Carlos. I was born in 89 in a small town in Mexico named Etzatlan in Jalisco. I grew up in Guadalajara with my family and my grandfather and I consider myself an errant since I was 17 years old.

I am curious, simple, adaptable and eager to enjoy and learn. I love nature, photography, outdoor sports and rugby.

I was a student at ITESO university, in Guadalajara Mexico. By now, I have lived in Mexico, Canada, New Zeland and Chile.

- PHILOSOPHY:

Imaginar es el inicio de todos nuestros logros...

Leave your mark... No Excuses.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I prefer to meet the locals and get really involved with their own culture and language; learn from them and share my culture and stories.

I like to try authentic local flavors: meals, beers, games and stories to create the best memories of a trip.

I just do not like to feel myself like a tourist and with CS I never do it because I can appreciate things like a local and do many others that tourist does not do.

Interests

Travelling. I like doing outdoor sport, hitchiking and camping.

Sometimes, I don't like to plan everything very well to see what happens on the road. I like to walk randomly in a city taking photos.

I like the feeling that I have to maximize and enjoy every moment of my travel; I love to be surprised, to be amazed, and so many times because of such details.

I like walk around the world.
