Hey Folks,

I’m Sira, a 26 years old german girl. I am a sociable and open-minded person. You can have good conversations with me - both serious and funny. I am interested in exchanging ideas and learning new things, but at the same time I also love to have fun and laugh a lot.

I love to travel and to meet new people and to broaden my horizons. I travelled a bit through Australia and was living in Tanzania for a half year, where I was working in an orphanage. Last Saison I spend my winter at an ski resort in Canada and travelled a bit over the summer. Now I'm back to Australia :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wish that everybody could have the chance to travel around the world and gain many important life experiences. CouchSurfing is an awesome way for people to travel even when they don't have a lot of money. I really like the idea that people can give something (like a place to stay or their company) and in return you both get to learn so much about each others travels, countries and cultures. Travel is another and amazing way to open our thoughts even more, every time we hear a new story. That's why hosting and surfing is a valuable part of traveling for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Franky is interested in electronic music (mostly psytrance and techno). I only got to know this music through Franky and festivals the last year, but I am also a big fan of it now.
In earlier times I heard a lot of Reggae music :)

Travelling and special festivals are good ways to find out about new music und meet up likeminded people. Recommendations for good festivals are always appreciated.
