ABOUT ME

I try to keep things simple and funny, to make jokes and laugh with friends.

I am equally happy talking about my favourite Simpsons character, the price of oil, the bromance of JD and Turk, religion's place in modern society, or why the 80s had such bad fashion. So basically, anything! I have my own opinions on all these things, but am always open to other's views - otherwise I would just talk to myself!

I lived in Australia for most of my life but now have lived in Holland for 1 year, Russia for 3 years, back in Holland for 2 years after also living in Ireland for 3 months in 2009, and now, finally, in Japan. Nomadic, but exciting.....

Im an easy going person and love meeting people with a positive open minded outlook, and those who can laugh at the madness of the world and themselves!

Relax! Life wasnt meant to be complicated, and it certainly wasnt supposed to be something to worry about! Be passionate, but respect others' passions...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have used CS in Europe, South America and the USA and met some awesome people!

In return, I now am happy to help people out who are coming to Tokyo and be a tourist with them in my adopted home town.....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met awesome people in Buenos Aires and Salvador in South America and in Austin,TX,USA. Will do my best to Pay It Forward and keep the good karma flowing in Japan!

Centres d'intérêt

Seeing new cities and different types of couches. I prefer leather, but will settle for anything with a throw rug.

I play drums and guitar, surf, snowboard and play basketball, like to party and dance, will try anything once apart from the obvious like religion, politics or cheese in a can.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music - rock, rapcore, metal, punk, cheesy 80s (YMCA!) and whatever the club is playing at that time! I am a sucker for cheesy pop songs also, Flo Rida, TI, Rihanna for example. At the moment listening to Zebrahead, The Blackout, Billy Talent etc
Movies - Horror, action, comedy, whatever. Not a fan of romantic comedies usually, especially if they have Sandra Bullock or Cameron Diaz. Terrible, just terrible. Having said that I would say "Love, Actually" is a modern day masterpiece. Brilliant.
Books - anything interesting like the environment, religion, politics, relationships. Usually have 5-6 books going at one time and get them confused.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have survived 3 years living and working in the Far East of Siberia in Russia. I am emotionally and mentally scarred and will never get close to another human being again.

Have also met Ron Jeremy.

I have seen Greenland and Chernobyl, both amazing for very different reasons.
