Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to live everyday in the same way i travel...
ABOUT ME
This is tough - I hate talking directly about myself. At times, and often at the same time I have been exhibit earnest tolerance, languid industriousness and infantile intellectualism. I have a nasty habit of being slightly out of step with the general ambiance and thus tend to gravitate similarly curious individuals, but rarely with any discernable pattern of characteristics.
Well these friends tell me Iâ
PHILOSOPHY
Roughly flirting around the Taoist side of Westernised Buddhism... or at least they speak to me more than anything else i've encountered. Is that a little deep for this spot? :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Having invaded a succession of Asia/Pacific couches during my first CS-enabled Eastern ramble, I’ve now returned with the inspiration for creative voyages. Currently living off love and kindness (back with the folks :-) and therefore unable to host, but I’m looking forward to a day when I have a couch to call my very own – at which time, you may call it your’s.
In the interim, I’m looking forward to getting involved with the Bristol CS scene and perhaps showing a few visiters around while I plan my next voyage...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CSing transformed my last 8-month trip from what could have been a travelling slideshow into a truly enriching experience. Almost all the best memories include at least one Cser, and those that didn’t… well they’re Csers too, they just don’t know it yet.
Think it was a relatively modest 9 couches, but many more coffees, beers, long train journeys and even dance classes (!) Trust me, we're everywhere... we really need a secret handshake :-)
Interests
Ooo, give me something boring and I like to make it interesting. Love churning over thorny subjects, science, culture, politics (even before OB) environmentalism, philosophyâ
- culture
- dancing
- beer
- politics
- traveling
- buddhist
- boxing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had a go a couple of times, but just can’t convey the “amazing” bits in this little box. I guess you just had to be there.
Teach, Learn, Share
Of my humble talents please take what you can, though you may be disappointed, sorry :-) I guess my main “talent” is the good fortune of being born in an English speaking country and the eagerness to speak to those who weren't, so feel free to practice with me :-)
