Overview
About Me
Traveller by day, reliability engineer on other, non-vacation days.
I love to travel and I'm all about the budget. I work full time so I can only take a certain amount of days off but I try to travel as much as I can, most trips lasting 2-3 weeks and I want to travel more. So. Much. More.
I am very active on Instagram and love to document my travels. Most of them are light-hearted and you'd probably see a bunch of jokes. I have yet to travel to an off-the-beaten-path destination but I'm getting there :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started out with hotels, moved onto hostels and I'm now exploring Couchsurfing as it's about as low-budget as I can get. I had a great experience couchsurfing on my last trip to Europe.
Plus, being from India, the currency I earn in is not exactly top-notch so this is really helpful when travelling in an expensive destination.
I also love to interact with the locals and learn about their way of life, their food, maybe even a bit of the language they speak. It gives my travels a lot more meaning and makes it fulfilling.

Music: All kinds, really. I especially love Post Rock.
Current favourite track: Moliendo Café - Panama Cardoon
Movies and Books: Just too many to count. I mostly love historical fiction and fantasy
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming with bioluminescent plankton on a new moon night, in a pitch-black spot, off the shore of Koh Rong island in Cambodia.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Cooking! I love to cook and I'm happy to teach you what I know
Learn: A new language, dancing, history and customs of a place, traditions... anything, really!
Share: My travel stories, food, jokes
What I Can Share with Hosts
Indian food! If you have the ingredients, I will prepare a meal for you and teach you a couple of recipes as well (assuming you like Indian food). I'm a great cook!
I also love to cook other cuisines (Asian, Middle-Eastern, Italian mainly) so if Indian food isn't your jam, tell me what you like and I'll try to whip something up :)
