About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Europe is now an empty sketchbook for me to color with the whims of my wildest imaginations. I live to learn and explore and continue down this road of uknowing experience. Each day is another treasure to be appreciated and lived to the fullest.
ABOUT ME
So I've kind of been all over the place, and finally find myself situated in Europe through my study abroad program in Denmark. The list of things I want to do, places I want to see, and people I want to meet is never ending. Traveling itself provides such a unique opportunity to place oneself in a foreign setting in hopes of learning and gaining a bit of enlightenment. However, it's specifically the people that you meet while abroad that have the biggest impact on this experience. So, I hope to use CouchSurfing as a means of meeting the wonderfully diverse people of the world who make up each of the different societies that are so appealing to travel to.
Interests
I love the unexpected pleasures that come across your path in life. Stumbling upon little hole-in-the-wall hang outs are a huge joy of mine and is an experience I seek out while travelling. Along with visiting the well known tourist attractions, I try to make a point of gaining a unique to me experience while abroad. Interests of mine include meeting new people, learning from their stories and experiences, and most importantly trying new things. I also really enjoy to cook, read and journal, but would just as much enjoy partaking in activities with new people or just talking about the different worlds we come from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Without a doubt the most incredible thing I have ever experienced was scuba diving at the great barrier reef during a study abroad in Australia last summer. I was originally too intimidated by the idea to even try it, but could not be happier about having overcome that fear and gaining that experience. The feeling of getting to swim alongside fish and around and through these coral walls and arches, while truly feeling like a fish yourself; it was surreal.
I'm sure I could indulge in many more detailed stories of experiences from my travels, but I hope to get to trade those with some of you in person.
