Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I like meeting new people. I am a writer so I am naturally introspective. I ask a lot of questions. I live for stories, travel stories, even your life story if you will! If you are artistically inclined, chances are we will get along. I don't party anymore so don't expect me to bring you to a club. I do enjoy listening to jazz in some obscure place. Recently I was introduced to the world of yoga. So if you are a yogi/yogini it would be great to learn from you.

Mostly jazz and blues. I am very fond of the music of Nina Simone, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Ella Fritzgerald, BB King, Chet Baker and the likes. I also like the music of Amy Winehouse, Mumford and Sons, Black Keyes, and Florence + the Machine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling the world by working on a cruise ship! Did it for five years! It was the best!

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to be a professional videographer/photographer. In my spare time I travel and document it by producing a short travelogue. I like to show my guests travel videos that I personally made during my trips here and abroad. At present, I work as a television writer writing for soap operas! I am also a textile designer managing my own brand. Check out my instagram page: @travelfundbysiriusdan. Basically I put up this brand so I could save up money that I can use for traveling! You are most welcome to hang out in my studio/showroom which is located close to the house!

We can check out the off the beaten path parts of Manila and beyond. I like discovering new places to hang out. I am more keen on spending time/exploring obscure and artsy places. I like anything vintage.
