About Me
Hello All! I'm Yuriy and I live in Velikiy Novgorod
I grew up in the city called Semipalatinsk, or Semey, in Eastern Kazakhstan. After graduating I went on a one-year exchange scholarship and lived in Massachusetts. After that I lived in Novgorod, Russia, where I pursued my degree, but I eventually worked for 4 years as an English teacher.
About 7 years ago I moved to Jerusalem. I've just come back to Russia and am welcoming travelers from all over the world
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that with just enough hospitality and goodwill, we can create a travelling community that won't have to spend a huge amount of money on accommodation, which in fact only distances you from local people and authentic local vibes.
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really enjoy meeting couchsurfers; I also believe it's important to be able to show at least some degree of attention to the guest, - that's why at busy times I'm not always able to host )
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted surfers from Germany, Italy, Israel, Netherlands, and Russia. Myself surfed in Vienna, Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv.
