About Me
Hello! I'm an extroverted introvert looking to have new experiences and make some new friends! I'm really into food, culture, nature, and making connections. I always look for likeminded people and love making lifelong friends wherever I go. Traveling is such a fun and unique way to do it!
I still work full time while I travel, and in my off hours during the week I like to at least spend a couple of hours on my side real estate business (really hopeful real estate business -- I don't have any homes yet!). But after work, I love to explore, read, watch TV, and try something new. Though I'm not much of a partier.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I signed up a while ago, but it wasn't until a random connection at a hostel really planted the seed in the power of Couchsurfing that I decided to try it out. While traveling, I love two things most of all -- making real, deeper connections, and getting an authentic experience of the area I'm visiting.
It wasn't until this hostel friend pointed out the power of Couchsurfing that it really clicked! I would love to be able to get a local perspective on an area and connect with someone new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wow that's a lot of pressure. My most amazing thing is skydiving, but I feel like that's such a cliche "amazing" experience. Having had a fear of flying, it was definitely terrifying to get up into the plane -- getting higher and higher and knowing at some point I was going to have to jump out.
I heard from a friend that when you skydive, the pit that you get in your stomach on rollercoasters isn't really as much of a thing. They were wrong. I had the most intense, horrible pit in my stomach for probably about half a second but then after that, it was one of the most amazing feelings ever. To be flying through the air and looking in every direction at the landscape around you. I'm currently torn between never, ever doing it again, and getting certified to be able to jump alone (which takes at least 10 more skydives).
Teach, Learn, Share
What I love talking about with people is life purpose, and the deeper composition of what it is that makes us happy, or challenges us and keeps us from achieving what we want in life. Like I mentioned before, I enjoy deeper connections, so I love learning about where people are at -- what they're passionate about, what they're struggling with, and what they're proud of. I think that it's in the learning about people on a deeper level that you can have some of the most fulfilling, rewarding experiences with them.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I feel like all I can offer to hosts is my experience, and an openness to exploring what it is that they really enjoy. I'm a positive guy, and I think that I can bring a good vibe to whatever host I end up staying with.
