Overview
About Me
I'm a Industrial Engineering student at the Eindhoven University of Technology, where I'm currently finishing my Master's studies. I was born and raised in the Netherlands, but have a multicultural background as my mother is half Turkish, Half Bulgarian and my father Persian. I'm an open-minded person, always open to new experiences and like to take initiative and make the most out of everything.
Travelling is a true passion of mine and I have seen a lot of Europe already through the international students network ESTIEM where university students from 78 universities all over Europe organise IEM-related events.
Also, I have been on a 4 month backpacking trip through South America and lived 5 months in Colombia for my exchange semester.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I have seen within ESTIEM, the best way to experience a culture is to be with the locals. Of course I like to go the touristic highlights of a country, but CSgives the perfect possibility to meet people all over the world and with all kinds of backgrounds and discover the true culture of a country.
Interests
I have a passion for sports and especially football, which I have been doing my entire life.
Traveling feels like my true nature and experiencing other cultures is something I can't stop loving. The world has so many wonderful things to discover, wildlife and nature to observe and of course the beautiful beaches to relax on.
Currently practicing my Spanish :) .

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of music, as long as it's happy. When on a party, I love to dance to some reggaeton/salsa music.
