About Me

CURRENT MISSION

spring summer suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun

ABOUT ME

oh god that s like one of these psycho tests .......

have a look at my friends pages..
i think it s the best way to get to know somebody
"show my your friends(and the room, where you live) and i tell you who you are".......

Ok my friends say that i am not the quietest person to meet (especially my laughing is quite loud i guess) but therefor i think it is not to difficult to communicate with me
and i love community (we often meet and cook together instead of studying) if i am in a bad mood, having others around is the best medicine i can get.
but there are also moments of quietness in my life (not only the ones while i am sleeping ;) )

PHILOSOPHY

there is this children song in germany: "froh zu sein bedarf es wenig, doch wer froh ist, ist ein könig"

(my really perfect translation: you need just little to be happy, but when you re happy you re a king)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Wow i had viet staying with me. But now that i met so many buenos aires couchies i need to get more into it.
and i will not miss the next partys(this one goes to anna, pako and menelaos)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i never did chouchsurfing in the way that i contacted people of this page(this is not true anymore, yippeyhe) but i travelled allready quite a lot.
i m glad that there where a lot of people who let me sleep on there couch not being requested before.
and i met quite a few couchsurfers through my friend max ( i think half of the time i know him (~2 years) he had people staying with him) and viet was staying with me

now i am discovering buenos aires with the third couchie and more reunions, please!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies! we have this really cool videoshop just around the corner with all this independent shit. i am especially crazy about almodovar(director) and the scandinavian movies.
at the moment i think mads mikkelsen is just great he is playing in so many totally different movies and every time he is also just such another person.

books: there are just so many good authors
(garcia marquez, hesse, dürrenmatt, auster, irving, vargas llosa, süsskind, fromm, aitmatov, böll.........)
and i am quite sure, that i am going to "annoy" my kids with astrid lindgren. i can read her "child-books" and after years they are still beautiful and entertaining.

music:
there s just to many but TOM WAITS, RADIOHEAD,GOGOL BORDELLO, MARLA GLEN....
(so mainly weird stuff, jazz, blues, gipsy music, but originally i played the electric bass in a band so i am still interested in all this indie, rock(n´roll), stoner rock stuff)

yeah i love music.
the best to dance and have fun is funk&soul, d´n´b and all kind of this "gipsy brass" (and dancing is so much fun, it s my weekly sport)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

when i ve been in hawai my friends (they have to small kids)took my to one of these weird sealife things. that was actually the first time i saw dolfins, it was horrifing (i think) these beautiful animals in these small swimmingpools.

and then some days later i flew to the big island.
and then sitting at one of these beautiful black sanded beaches i saw wild dolfins.

i never thought it would be such a strong picture. but just compared with the ones in the swimmingpool it became my perfect metaphor for the lust for life. (ok sounds a bit cheesy but it really felt like this)

Teach, Learn, Share

i think i am really an optimistic person and i laugh a lot and really loud .. so if there s no problem with the loudness it can be quite a funny time

and i love cooking and eating espacially for somebody as a present or with others as an activity. so i would love to offer you real swabain (south german)"kässpäzle" (special noodles with a lot of cheese) or just an other meal ( i don t know if i cook really good but i love this kind of occupation)
