About Me

ABOUT ME

I consider myself to be an open book, a quiet one but more then willing to talk. I also like listening. I struggle to in fill out boxes about myself, like alot of people do it seems. If you were to ask someone what I'm like, what they answer would be dependent on who they were, but a consensus decision would ideally say honest, reliable and "so laid back he's almost horizontal".

PHILOSOPHY

...is in constant development.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Seems obvious but my reason for being here is that I'd like to go visit other couch surfers and have them come and stay with me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed on many couches in varying conditions over the years! However have only just become aware that you can now do this via the internet!

Interests

Music and sound, self oscillating delay pedals, communication, relaxing, clinical hypnosis/meditation/altered states, psychology & (un)consciousness and the way the brain works and altering it; specifically how we build and act upon belief systems, anarcho-whatsits, "art", nature & traversing through it. Devil's advocacy (I disagree...), self reliance and autonomy, growing things to eat, finding things to eat.

Music, Movies, and Books

Fiction with something to say. Sc-fi. Non-fiction. I read as much as I can.

Music wise, punk/noise/psychedelia is probably the most encompassing triad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Medicine tends to show you some pretty amazing things and lets you do some cool stuff. Outside of medicine is much more interesting, I've done some 'zines, helped put gigs on, done workshops etc.
I haven't travelled too far too often, but in my opinion if that's required to find amazing things then you may have missed the point a little.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning to be a doctor and so have some handy practical skills that I am more then willing to pass on if interested, first aid, drug usage, breathing etc. I can play guitar and effects pedals to make noises that are sometimes pretty, sometimes like those nightmares you can't forget... and would be happy to pass on some things I know about that! Er, can juggle with clubs and I like to cook vegetarian food.
