About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live life to the fullest, to make up for lost time, to live every day as if it were my last.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in a small town in Northern Greece and I moved to the US at a young age. I stayed there for 15 years and got to meet a lot of different people from all over the world. I now live in Greece, where I teach at the University. I love meeting new people, would gladly offer tips to travellers and I never say no to coffee or drinks.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is becoming the best I can possibly be through soul searching and new experiences. My favorite quote is: "Amor fati," or love your fate, even if it's difficult and painful. Nietchze said that "whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger." Life has made me really strong, since I'm not dead yet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I meet for coffee and drinks CSers that visit Volos on a regular basis. I host people whenever I can and I participate in CS meetings.

Interests

I'm interested in psychology, philosophy and poetry (I write some poetry myself). I'm into martial arts (tae kwon do and muay thai) and dancing latin dances. I love traveling and meeting new people, doing crazy stuff and simply escaping every day routine any way I possibly can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music of all kinds. As a poet, I love interesting and meaningful lyrics. My favorite books are psychology books--I rarely read fiction (Yalom is a recent favorite author of mine).
