ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing, friendly, adventurous person who loves moving to new places and experiencing new cultures. I enjoy outdoor activities and exploring new places. I enjoy a good dance club or going out for great food, or even a drink somewhere. I am pretty spontaneous and am usually game for whatever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have meet many great people in Toronto who belong to this community and have helped close friends show surfers around the city. I have been travelling for the last few years but have set down roots for the next little will and am ready to share my couch and the travelling experience with others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The people I have met have all been very nice outgoing souls. It feels good to show people from other places around my great city, and also learn about where they have came from and been.

I love alot of types of music and am always eager to hear something I haven't hear before. For Dancing I love House and Techno
I love reading. some of my favourites are East of Eden, Middlesex, Fall on your knees, & This Much I know is True, historical novels

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked with a ship Salvenger in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia where I help build the Tall ship "The Picton Castle"
I climbed a volcano in Guatamala
Went to ancient Mayan ruins Tikal... very spiritual place,
Helped special needs children (all the time)
I love cliff jumping into water
I crossed 100 feet above a raging river over a fallen log in British Columbia
Went to the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics
Witness many crazy medical emergencies on the little island I lived on

Teach, Learn, Share

I have extensive knowledge on people with disabilities. Particularly Autism, ADHD, Tourettes. U name it I've proabably know something about there behaviours, needs and techniques to help them.
I teach ESL and write programs for teaching
I dated the only doctor on Utila for 2 year.. (you might know him)....anyway spent a lot of time helping him tend to medical emergencies. Could tell you some crazy stories and learned a bit about all that medical stuff.
