ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Chile, moved to the states for college, found my home in Alaska. Been here for the past 8 years on and off and traveling as well.
I'm pretty laid back, passionate about many things, love my work (most of the time :) love spending time outdoors but also have learned to enjoy winter months in Alaska with several indoor hobbies and activities involving snow.
Love to hike/camp, kayak, cook, be creative.
Traveling has been a passion since childhood but the past few years have been spent creating a home here in Alaska. I still travel every year but not for months at a time like I used to.
I live in such a beautiful location I feel it is my duty to bring people over so they can experience it. I have a very demanding job but love to be outside when I can. Summers are super busy and winter is the when we can sleep and have free time. Every season here is amazing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never actually surfed anyone's couch, just hasn't worked out for some reason. But I have hosted before and enjoy it. I am very social and like showing people the beautiful places in my town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm not exactly new but have been inactive for a while.

Hiking, camping, experiencing beautiful natural places and living simple.
Arts and Crafts! Knitting, crochet, macrame, spinning wool, sewing, etc, etc.... I love the process of making something out of raw materials with your bare hands. Getting alpaca fiber straight from the animal, card it, spin it, and knit or crochet it into a beautiful garment...
I love to cook! Healthy, nutritious and delicious cooking, I especially love to bake.
