CURRENT MISSION

I consider myself an ambassador of music. I'm currently a music teacher here in Singapore and although I am not a virtuoso, I hope to awaken in my students an appreciation for music and hopefully it can help them have a deeper appreciation of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been really active as a couch surfer and after spending one year working here in Singapore, away from my family and friends, I realized that it's about time I widen my social circle and meet new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The most I've done here is answer messages sent by fellow CSers. Mostly asking about my hometown or answering survey questions.

Interests

I am interested in literature and the arts. I like going to art exhibits (though I haven't been to any here in Singapore), theater plays, basically anything related to the arts. I also enjoy sports like badminton (I suck at it but hey it's fun and a good form of excercise), basketball, and table tennis. And sometimes I also like going out for drinks especially if it's not a working day the next day.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Witch of Portobello, Incredibly Loud and Extremely Close, Everything is Illuminated, The Hookman Speaks..basically I like books that make me reflect on life and human experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone night fishing in an open sea. The sea is amazing at night, where you see the planktons make the water seem magical with their lights.

I've also tried para-sailing recently and the time spent up in the air is the best 15 minutes of my life so far.
