About Me
ABOUT ME:
Hi I'm Sita :) I'm a 20 year old acting student, I'm half English and Indian, vegetarian and a Leo.
My friends describe me as genuine, lovely, charming, honest, independent, free spirited, assertive, generous, loyal, wear my heart on my sleeve, very enthusiastic, confident, open, extroverted, talkative, sociable.
In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, acting, watching films, reading, going to the cinema and theatre, art, tradition, culture, international cuisine, travelling and experiencing all that life has to offer. I also love sports: tennis, badminton, horeseriding and cricket, although I've not been sporty for a while.
PHILOSOPHY:
My personal motto is kinda clichéd but it's a cliche for a reason and that's Carpe Diem and also Live Laugh Love.
That's what I believe with all my heart that the world is there beckoning us and waiting for us to explore it, it's a treasure chest wealthy with experiences and knowledge. The world is your oyster basically. So I believe in whatever you do you do it to your fullest. Live your life to the fullest. Dream big. Love to the max. I'm an optimist and idealist by heart so that's probably why I think this way.
I'm very interested in Religion, Truth, Love and Spirituality.
I believe in following your heart and your passion and dreams, no matter how crazy others may think they are.
And I also believe in doing what is righteous instead of doing things out of obligation.
I don't believe in having regrets as it's all part of the plan and you learnt something from it even if it wasn't what you wanted. So I believe in Destiny and Karma.
Although I have my beliefs, I'm very open and broad minded in my attitude.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to make new friends from different countries and have an authentic experience of the country by gaining insights through local residents.
I'm here to share and learn, to inspire and to be inspired. I really love travelling although I haven't had the oppurtunity to because of finances and my studies but I'm not gonna postpone it anymore, the world is waiting for me.
I don't believe in strangers really because as someone I can't remember once said no one is a stranger, everyone is potenetial friend that you havent been introduced to yet. So everyone is a potential/ would be friend.
Couchsurfing sounds like the awesomest idea for meeting new people and seeing new places and having new experiences. And I also like the fact that its a lot more personal experience than a hostel and couchsurfing is definitely not a free hostel, it's soo much more, it's staying with locals , connecting with them and embracing their culture and sharing, discovering and enlightening yourself.

My favourite film and book is Gone with the Wind, so you can tell I like old movies. I love reading too, although I should do it more often, I also enjoyed reading Lolita. And when I was younger I loved Roald Dhal.
I love other classic films such as Roman Holiday , Ben Hur, It Happened One Night, Cool Hand Luke, and It's a Wonderful Life and lots more.
My Favourite Director is Alfred Hitcock.
I'm a bit of a film buff as I love acting and and I am going to try to train as an actor.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to Prague by myself for a week, couch surfed for the first time. That was Incredible!
I went to India 4 times during my childhood, saw the Taj Mahal, saw the Ganges and Himalayan Mountains, participated in the Holi Festival, staying there for 6 months during one trip was also amazing.
Abseiling and kayaking, hiking and rock climbing in the Lake District was frickin awesome too :D
Teach, Learn, Share
I was doing my TEFL qualification so I could travel and teach English at the same time.
I really want to teach, learn, wander, share, escape, get lost but then find myself.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my experiences, knowledge, personality, my languages English and Hindi and decent French, my laughter, my fun, my zest for life, my thoughts and ideas.
Basically, ME is what you're getting. A friend, a companion to share with, a lodger, a traveller, a future student, someone to be mentored who's willing to learn from other people and a teacher at the same time who wants to share her experiences and knowledge. That's what I believe in that everyone is a student and a teacher at the same time in this world and that we can learn from everyone.
