We are web designer and a vedic astrologer. we're really easy going, we play guitar and ukulele and tablas and harmonium. we garden. We make our own cleaning products, pickles and sauerkraut. We cook, and philosophize and spend a little too much time online.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted and stayed with a good number of people over the past several years, and with very few exceptions, the experiences were amazing.

THE GOOD:

I met Joe and Lana through couch surfing, and have been friends with them for going on about ten years. I've watched their son grow up.

I stayed with a really cute couple in chicago, and they liked to do these communal art pieces, where we would sit at the table, and draw a little, and pass it to the left. it was sweet, and fun, and amazing, and I really should do that more often.

I stayed with a woman in Columbus that took me to a drum circle and let me swim in her parents pool at midnight.

There was a woman in Vienna that showed me that little island park in the middle of the River.

THE BAD:
There was one neighborhood i was worried my car containing all of my possessions might have been broken into, so i left. I didn't feel safe there, but the host herself was perfectly nice.

There were two strange girls who wanted to interview me for a super weird documentary they were filming, but at the end of the day, that was actually entertaining.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed more back in my younger days. lately I've stayed pretty close to home, but am looking forward to my upcoming travels.
