ABOUT ME

I spent my childhood dreaming of ways to get out of my small island town, when I finally made my way out I desperately wanted to come back HOME! So now my home base is in Sitka and I travel as much as I possibly can(Usually once a year)

Here I have too much logic, reality, patience and all those other qualities you cannot find in shredded wheat. Come see for yourself!

Have found a guy that I want to live and travel with!! Where will this bring us next?!?!?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My experience so far with CS has been fantastic.
I have met trust worthy people and even made good friends in the process! Hosting and traveling!

The reason my profile is set to "no" is that I get SO MANY requests that I just cannot keep up!! Couchsurfing puts those with positive referrals at the top of the list when surfers are looking. So im taking myself off the auto recommend for the time being!

There is nothing that equals the adventure of meeting, sharing and experiencing like you do when you meet another local couchsurfer!

I have seen many places in a new light(including MY own hometown when I am showing guests around) that I know I would not be experiencing if I were not a part of this CS community!!

Interessi

Hiking, berry picking(and other food gathering), reading, writing, cooking, dancing to live music, stimulating conversation, yummy food with plenty of laughter is essential.

With the husband there are some "new" added hobbies, including but not limited to: cars, motorcycles, junkyards, beer, bonfires and meeting new people!!!!

When I was 7 years old on my dads fishing boat I watched him sling aboard a big ling cod- only so forcefully that the hook slipped out of the ling cod and into the side of my dads nose....OUCH

My little brother (5 at the time) calmly brought to him the first aid kit, what an intelligent kid!
