One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Full gear expedition for 4 days. It is not something that can get "wow" response.
But if you were carrying a 40lbs backpack, in the 3rd day, lose the way in the area that there are over 20 Buddha temples and each temple is looked the same, under RED RAINSTORM SIGNAL (Heavy rain has fallen or is expected to fall generally over Hong Kong, exceeding 50 millimeters in an hour, and is likely to continue.) and Thunderstorm Warning, the thunder is right in front of you and you are staying in the 500M height peak without shelter, you are definitely shocked on that time.
Actually it was my AYP(The Hong Kong Award for Young People,http://www.ayp.org.hk/en/home.php) trip in April 2013. My teammate and I were planned to have a 4 days expedition (60km) in Lantau Island (where the Big Buddha and the Hong Kong International Airport are placed in) for finish one of the part of AYP program.
At the end, we completed. It is the most memorable experience in my life until now.
