About me, have answered this question many times in a professional way. First time I'm gonna tell about myself in my own way and how I really would like to explain about me. I am Sivarathan you can call me Siva, basically from North of Sri Lanka (Jaffna). I am a backpacker, where I started my first backpacking at the end of 2015. and by the end of 2018 traveled almost all the places around Sri Lanka.

I am passionate to explore the unexplored. I usually look for something different from what the other travelers do. I mostly road trips, to explore the places in public transport.

And planned to step out of Sri Lanka to explore more ( Planned to visit North India in the March of this year).

I wish to travel more in my life to save memories to think about when I am in my death bed. I'm always excited about traveling places, getting to know new people, exchanging culture, learn new words from other languages, try different cuisines ( The Most important one), celebrate their festivals and share experiences.

I'm more of a hill person than a beach person. Maybe because of my native city don't have any hills. Not that I love beaches less, but I love hills little more. Haha. I love pets and love to interact with them

This signifies the importance of "Virundhombal" (hospitality) in Tamil culture, as put by the celebrated Tamil poet Thiruvalluvar in Thirukkural, a chef d'oeuvre for the universe.

And if we talk about my work life actually I am still studying but I do part-time works like web development kinds of stuff you can classify me as a digital nomad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I enjoy meeting new people, I wanna hear their stories, learn as much from them make friends all over the world and to have loads of memories to reminisce before i fade away.
