About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world on a fixed amount of money, seeing if I can work as I go in order to attain a new nomadic lifestyle.

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, fun-loving guy who wants to find his place in the world. I've worked a string of roughly 2 year jobs for the past 15 years, with a few years of University mixed in. I've studied computer science and Anthropology. I've done study abroad in Wales for a year, traveled to Mexico and Guatemala in 2007 and 2008, and more recently Argentina. I'm hoping to travel for longer this time, and possibly find a new place to call home for a while.

PHILOSOPHY

I think expectation is the primary cause of unhappiness in the world. I try to keep an open mind at all times, and not expect things of people. I try to see the world through others' eyes, and I enjoy finding new ways to look at things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only ever couchsurfed through groups that I'd previously met online, primarily through online gaming.

Interests

Craft beer, hiking, meeting new people, and exploring places that are new to me. I love seeing the world through other peoples' eyes, and learning new ways for looking at myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a shamanistic healing in Mexico. I've run down the slopes of an erupting volcano in Guatemala. I've experienced an unplanned night with the homeless community in Milan, Italy.

Teach, Learn, Share

Frozen peas are an excellent ice pack for runners' knee.
