ABOUT ME I am a graduate from the University of Ottawa with my two fields of study in Second Language Teaching and Geography. I believe that languages and traveling are the keys to understanding the world around you and to make everyone become closer. I have done so much research within tourism that I probably have a list of things I want to see/do for most places in the world. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the community that comes with the concept of Couchsurfing. I think it is an amazing idea!
I feel that everyone should be treated equally on CS (and outside of CS) regardless of gender, race, faith, sexual orientation, political views, etc. To each their own and respect one another. Love makes the world go round.
I have donated because I feel like this is an amazing project that everyone, student or not, would find joy and insight from.I enjoy going to CS meets and parties when I can, as well as hosting people when I have time and space!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted people in the past before I knew about couchsurfing and I loved showing people my city and helping them out with any questions as well :)
I love the idea of couchsurfing and helping out fellow travellers while meeting tons of friends along the way and exchanging interesting stories and advice for new travels!
My first couchsurfing experiences were in Norway and they gave me the best first impression you could ask for.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

-I saw a faint Aurora Borealis in July in Fort McMurray, Canada(fairly Northern latitude).
-I put my feet in the Arctic Ocean in Tromsø with my couchsurf host, and at the same time experienced the midnight sun!
-I climbed a glacier and surrounding waterfalls in Iceland.
-I've skated along the world's longest outdoor skating rink in Ottawa!
-I trekked to the Refuge of the Toubkal mountain in Morocco which was 30km return. Extremely difficult for me but a good challenge.
-Flew in a hot-air balloon over Goreme Turkey!
-Been on multiple safaris and saw the Big 5.
-Climbed the Wayna Pichu in Peru.
