My name is Stephen ‘James’ Parsons Jr, I was born in California in 1981 making me 36 years old. I have always been a goofy kid taking apart all my toys, very artistic, played soccer, and went to boy scouts. I enjoy reading technical books, and working with my hands.
After high school in 1999 I started my second business, a graphic design company called ‘Skin Kancer Design’, I sold tattoo-flash to tattoo parlors, six months later I sold the business. In May 2002, I decided it was time to serve my country, after nine months of labor-intensive exercise, I signed the papers and was shipped off into the United States Navy.
First was boot camp, and then off to Naval Hospital Corps School, out of a class of 80 only five corpsmen went places besides Camp Pendleton California, I went to Yokosuka Japan Naval Hospital. While stationed in Japan I worked, Family Practice, Pediatrics and finished my tour working as an EMT in the Emergency Room.
In 2005, I transferred to Camp Lejeune North Carolina where I was stationed as senior Corpsman of Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marines. During that time I went to Iraq for seven months where I read forty books and watched over two hundred movies. When I returned from Iraq was on Temporary Assigned Duty to 29 Palms, California where I refereed war games.
After my five years in the NAVY, I got out and traveled to London, Mexico, Peru, and across the United States. Then from 2009 to 2013 I lived in Jacksonville North Carolina, earning an Associates in Science, and an Associates in Engineering.
Currently, I am attending my senior year at Drexel University in Philadelphia PA. I am working towards my Bachelors in Bio-Medical Tissue Engineering.
My main goal is to start a Biotech Research firm, where I will develop consumer biological tissues, tools, and materials. The funding acquired from my consumer products will be used for clinical therapies.
