To come up with something clever and witty to put in this box
ABOUT ME
What to say? I'm a pretty easy-going guy, maybe a bit shy at first but I warm up to people quickly. I like going out with friends to the pub, or out for meals (breakfast being my favourite).
I'm finishing my diploma in Library and Information Technology this spring, but my real passion is urban planning, so I'll be returning to university to pursue that path in the fall.
I've lived in Winnipeg all my life. I used to think it was so boring, but in the last few years I've changed my mind on that. It's got an amazing arts scene, beautiful/strange architecture, and a really comfortable and unpretentious vibe. All that said, I definitely like getting out and visiting other places.
PHILOSOPHY
Still working on it...
I guess I believe that the only meaning to life is that which we make for ourselves. Cliché, but there you have it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Did it once for a few days in Montreal, really enjoyed it, and am looking forward to doing it again!
Interests
Likes: drinking coffee/tea/beer, independent travel; grammatically-correct text messages; endlessly rearranging my bookshelves; messing around on my acoustic guitar; delicious vegetarian cuisine; Charlie Kaufman films; social justice.Dislikes: people who use the word "chill" too much; Comic Sans; all superstitious beliefs, except for unicorns; when people say "I listen to everything!" or, alternatively, "I listen to everything except country and rap."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This is where you're supposed to put if you climbed Mt. Everest or something else equally impressive.
I feel like the most amazing things I've seen or done would probably seem mundane or unremarkable to others. But I think that's how life is; every now and then you get to experience these moments where everything just feels right, and then the moment is over, but they're the things that stick with you.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you how to make the best cup of coffee you've ever had at home. (Coffee geek here).
