ABOUT ME

I live in Oslo with my wife Ingrid. We both love travelling, and later this year we are off to Australia for two months. My profession is also travel related: I work as a travel reporter for Aftenposten, which is one of Norway's most influential newspapers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As per October 2009, I've tried surfing only once. This is what I wrote about it: http://www.aftenposten.no/reise/article3284555.ece. I've met CS members on several occations, and it's always a great experience.

Intereses

First of all: Travelling. In addition I try to balance between being an urban person who enjoys city life and being an outdoors type person who likes to run around in the woods with a map and a compass in hand. Usually, the first part wins. But I do a fair amount of cross country orienteering during spring, summer and autumn. I also like to read books, watch films, go to cafes, eat food, discuss current affairs etc. etc.
