About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Been there. Done that. What's next?

ABOUT ME

Has just finished my master program and will continue to work in the UK, a country close to my heart, for at least two more years. Currently working for the UN as a freelance interpreter and travel often between London and Geneva.

PHILOSOPHY

Easygoing, a great sense of humor, love to laugh, curious about the world

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will move to London from Oxford in early March 2012. I would love to show people around and have coffee/tea. Might be able to host someone if my new flatmates agree!:-D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met lovely lovely lovely people here...who offered to show me around and offer me a couch to stay. I am very grateful for their little kindness and have a great time. I hope I will be able to do the same when I finally settle down in London!

Interests

Reading: a bookworm
Curious about different cultures: a professional habit of an interpreter
travelling: of course! that's why I am here!

Music, Movies, and Books

too many to mention :-P Unfortunately, because of my current job, I have to read lots of tech materials or boring stuff....so don't have much time for movies and music anymore...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many to mention....But when I was in Shangri-la several years ago, I saw the sunrise quietly with my best friend. It was such a serene moment...

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe travelling itself is a process of teaching, learning and sharing. And Couchsurf has opened another window for me where I could really get to know local people and exchange ideas and cultures!

Countries I’ve Visited

Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Kingdom
