He I am Sjoerd and I like to tell about me by summing up some things I really like to do. Wander in nature or an as yet unknown city. Playing the piano, I just can't keep my hands off them. Reading. Writing. Meditate. Being with people I love. Breaking out of the ordinary. And what I dislike .. People who are insincere.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In dutch we call it ''dwalen''. Travelling, don't knowing where you're going to, who you will meet, what time and life will bring. For me, it means a state of being where I am open to the signs that life sometimes gives to you. I think thats amazing, the things that happen, the people you meet. Thats why I am on Couchsurfing! Because its a beautifull way to get in contact with lovely people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sometimes do a kind of project with my artist-buddy. We travel to a city wich we don't know. We don't know where we are going to sleep, what we want to see, nothing. The only thing that is certain is that we have to write a song, everyday. About a place in that city and the people whom are connected to that place. It gives the most amazing times.
