I am an easy going person that is (in my own view) quite open minded. I like languages and exploring new places and people&culture.

PHILOSOPHY

Life has good sides and bad sides, and fun sides as well as serious sides. Trying to balance on the more positive sides of life, and not get to occupied with the less nice sides.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to Couchsurfing, but I like the concept very much. It makes sense to connect people in this way across borders (in all senses of the word).

Not much so far, just listened to a couple of friends that have been members for some time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left Norway after the military service, to Montpellier, France, for one year of studying French, from scratch. I was 22, and just went to the bank, borrowed the money and went off. Montpellier is highly recommended!
Since then I have been travelling to actually most continents. Three weeks Shinkansen-railing in Japan in Feb-March 2008 was very cool: Japan is safe, tidy, organized, friendly. Sometimes to the extreme.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I know my job quite well, and I teach internal auditing and IT auditing (www.TheIIA.org and www.ISACA.org). Maybe not the most exciting you would think, but actually better than it sounds.
