ABOUT ME

I am born and raised in Wyoming, and now I attend the university here studying to be Secondary Ed major, where I would like to teach Spanish. I am easy going and pretty friendly. I like to meet new people and find out all about them. I love to travel. I recently got back from living in Xalapa, Mexico, which was the best experience of my life. Right now, I am working on improving my Spanish to practice it whenever, wherever, and with whoever I can. Thanks for reading... Have a wonderful day!!! Amoripaz!

Live to help others. I hope for the good in all human beings. To benefit from my own and the experience of others. To pass joy of simple things to anyone who wants it and it in turn to learn to enjoy things that I have never tried or disliked in the past.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am trying to participate in a community which I will believe will help people understand others and help them. I like the idea of couch surfing it plays on trusting people in scarier by the minute world. I love to host when I can or I should say we can, as my room-mates and I live here, one of which is a fellow CSer. I plan to surf some couches in the very near future!!

Thus far I have hosted 3 people on 2 occasions and I LOVE IT!!!!!

Interests

I am interested in fútbol. Although I don't really play often. I love to play hacky sack. I like to meet new people and learn about them; although I can be pretty terrible at names. I love to listen to people and hear about where they come from what they like to do, what they believe, and to anything they want to talk about. I am interested in learning Spanish and helping others. I like to read although I don't do it near enough. I love the movies and relaxing and just doing nothing. Sunsets and sunrises rock. But the best thing to do in life is to go to concerts which I do just about every chance I get.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of movies. Shawshank Redemption being one of my favorite along with many others. I am a Daria and Spiderman fan... I LOVE SKA!!!! Music is amazing, concerts are better. I love to go to concerts... Books, I like to read Beat Literature like Jack Kerouac and Hunter S. Thompson. Now, I am trying read books in Spanish to practice some more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't want to choose just one...
1. Went to Xalapa Mexico to study Spanish and met amazing people and volunteered in the community!
2. Went to an Allman Brothers concert with my dad at the Red Rocks in Colorado
3. Went to a Ska extravaganza with Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, and Against All Authority
4. Went on a roadtrip with one my best friends on the West Coast where he swam and saw the ocean for the first time!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have recently learned how to do a coptic binding for books. I could teach how to do this, it is pretty easy. I can even point in the direction on how to figure out how to do it yourself if I can't explain it right.

I need to learn a wide variety of things, if you have anything to share and teach please let me know. I will try my best, but I can be a slow learner.
