About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Become a master-mingler.
ABOUT ME
Big consumer of espresso based drinks and an even bigger consumer of food in general.
Fashion and arts are my main interests, but I am also a bit of a film geek.
I like to think of myself as rather witty. I know, how narcissistic to say.
I also like to go treasure hunting at charity shops and flea markets for new things for my clothes hoard. Don't misinterpret this as me being shallow. I do not judge new people from what they wear. I am not gonna diss you because you don't know who Miucca Prada is or if you're not up to date with the latest collections. The same way a stampcollector would not diss you for posting a letter with an average stamp.
Spend a lot of time at my school, hanging out with mates, drinking (too much) coffee, reading dazed articles, scrolling down tumblr, scrolling down twitter. Documentaries, Movies and tumblr are my favourite forms of procrastination.
I used to do some modelling too, but now I'm too porky. Instead I pose for Life drawings now and then to make some extra cash.
Summer 2013 I got accepted into the Royal Danish academy in Copenhagen, but prior to this I lived in Århus and studied Culture & Aesthetics.
So if art/fashion/popculture/theatre/music/design is your type of thing - you're right up my street!
I like to go out in the weekends, and often end up having a chat with alluring strangers at the bar. I am a bit messy when at home, but I always manage to keep everything neat and tidy when I get guests over and when I'm out travelling.
I'd say I'm pretty easy to be around. I can be happy and talkative, but I also know when to give people their space and shut up. So depending on what type of person my CS'er is, I'll adapt.
Also: I'm one of those social-media-type of people. If you wanna get to know me a little better, check out my twitter and Instagram (@Skandilicious).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
LET ME EMPHASIZE THAT COUCHSURFING IS NOT A DATING-WEBSITE!! This profile is not a personal ad of mine, and I'm NOT here looking to arrange dates with guys. Apologies for the bitchyness but some people in here seem to misunderstand the concept of CS
with that said..
I'll be more than grateful for anyone who can/wants to accomodate me, and will definitely pay for a dinner or 2 for me and my host during my stay.
Last summer I moved to Copenhagen to start my fashion degree - and last winter I finally got my own flat in Nørrebro.
I'll be more than happy to meet up with people and show them my hood!
I've had numerous people stay over in the past when I had my own flat, and it's been a positive experience every time. I've couchsurfed a couple of times in London and France and had good fun with it, too.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Melvin Tan took my "couchsurfing virginity", when I went to London. He showed me around Bricklane and we went vintage shopping.
Was hosted by 2 very nice french people when my friend Kate and I went to Paris in April 2012.
Had a stroll around Central London with Silvio Robi.
Cooked and girl talked with Xandra when she stayed at my flat in Århus.
Hosted Alesia and her friend for a couple of nights in January 2013 during their exams.
Interests
Fashion. Movies. Art. shopping. eating. getting tipsy with my friends and laughing about minor everyday things. TV (I'm especially a sucker for docusoaps and lame american sitcoms), sleeping.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like electropop, grime and a bit of HipHop. Lily Allen and old stuff from gwen Stefani. M.i.a. and more!
I like a good mixture of chickflicks, thrillers and comedies. Simon Pegg and Benedict Cumberbatch is a seal of approval on any film if you ask me.
Also: The Kingsman, Juno, Start Trek into Darkness, Meangirls, Seven, Fight Club, Brides maids, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Paris; Texas, Burn after reading, Nick and Nora, Shaun of the dead, Hot Fuzz and many more!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had my childhood in the 90's, which in general has been amazing. Great decade, if you ask me.
I also really enjoyed swimming with dolphins in Cuba. and might I add London is generally amazing. Full stop. I just got back from living there for 6 months..
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH: Did you know that there in average are 178 sesame seeds on a McDonald's burger bun? no? well, now you know.
LEARN: I hope to learn local sayings, wherever I go. I'm thinking it'll be a good icebreaker. and learn what questions are best to ask first, to get to know a person well.
SHARE: Going out alone in the weekends might seem solitary, but I did it, and it has given me some good friends, that I wouldn't otherwise have met.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great conversation, I'm quite the chatterbox! Teach you a bit of Danish perhaps? Send out some happy vibes (my nickname at uni is the golden retriever, and with good reason)
