ABOUT ME

I spent the great majority of my youth working on school work and taking up a wide variety of hobbies ranging from chess to rock climbing. I enjoy many hobbies. I love pool and all my friends call me a shark but i never play for money, i will play for a beer here or there but i figure that is a fair wager, things just get messy when you get money involved with games. I also find great joy in watching great movies. I have a list a mile long to see but am always looking for good Indy and Forgien Films. My curent favorite film is Six String Samuri. This epic movie set in the waste lands of a postapocolyptic United States. Where the musicians of the land are in a race to take the throne of rocknroll and all kinds of people come out of the woodwork to clam the throne. They are all soon chased down by death (heavy metal) and then ran through by samuri swords. It is an amaysingly fantastical journey that makes me smil everytime I watch it. Im a bit shy at first but dont let that scare you. As soon as i start talking and feel comfortable i will talk with you about anything from politics to religion. Not a fan of most evangelical religions but other than that i grew up a Unitarian Universalist who was taught to keep an open minded, doing this will allow you to see world from an open set of eyes, ears, and any other senses that one can use. With a world full of diferences the more open and accepting of things different the sooner a peace will be shared by all.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem... A phrase that has arisen since my year of studying in Spain. I feel that as life passes us all by we need to have the drive to live everyday to the fullest. You can sleep when you die sounds funny and morbid but it is true. Other feelings of mine are...

~Blend with and be guided by the force of life, Do not struggle against it.
~Avoid extremes of ascetism and indulgence
~Live an ethical and spiritual life (not moral)
~Purse patience, truthfulness, pleasantness
~Live simply
~You reap that which you sow

兴趣

I enjoy many things. I play games, card games, board games, my favorite game to play is curently and has been for a while, Chess. I have played since i was 4. Another game i have played since i was little was pool/billards. I enjoy cribbage and Gin Rummy, 500 and many of the other variations to the game. More than games i stay quite active. I fence on a regular basis and i have been rock climbing for over 9 years. I climb 5.9 trad 5.10 sport 5.11 gym... However that was when i was climbing daily. I also worked for a rock climbing gym for a few years. I have also partook in many political actions... I have protested sweatshops like GAP and Old Navy. I have protested fur stores in Salt Lake City. I have also marched many times in Anti Iraq Wars Protests and Marches Like transform Columbus Day. My life also steers me to puting on good concerts with friends. I have helped do sound system work for bands like Uzi Suicide, Black Fire and other bands we hosted when at University in Durango. I in short have a wide range of interests and more than likely well have things in common. Food, Guitar... Traveling... Just ask...
