I wish to photograph European cities and to help anyone seeking to do the same whilst living in the Industrial North of England. (/wherever i currently am!)

ABOUT ME

Hello I am John.

I am 23 and my passions are Photography, Travel, Extreme Sports, Architecture, Environmentalism, Cooking and experiencing new things.

I grew up in both Wales and England (both of which I love) and have so far travelled to a large section of Europe,and North America as well as a few coutries in Asia and Central America. After graduating from my masters i have spent time living in Denmark, Spain and now Ireland.

I joined CS when I was a student and money was tight however through CSing I have still been able to travel to some amazing places, meet new people and experience some incredible things.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that if the opportunity is there; it should be taken.

I try to live by this moto as much as I can and it has led me to have some of the best experiences of my life. Just say YES!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I mainly wish to use CSing to travel in Europe, I am also happy for people to stay with me in Sheffield (or whereever in the world my home might be at the time) and am very keen to meet anyone with similar interests; especially photography.

While I am usually fairly busy, between me and the others that live in the house someone would also happily show you around all the sights! Getting to know your guest/host is by far the most exciting and rewarding aspect of the CS experience and I love to meet people from new places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS surfing experience (surfing) was staying in Prague with two of the most awesome people I have ever met. This made me realise the true potential for this site and I therefore opened up in me a desire to help all that I can, and where ever possible us CSing to travel and meet new people!

Since then I have been lucky enough to host some really cool people in Sheffield and look forward to continue to do so in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in a tropical rainforest was one of the best experiances of my life....SO FAR!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching people how to take better photographs and would be more than happy to teach all that I know to others.

I am keen to learn alot about cities that I havent been too from locals as my studies focuses on this.
