ABOUT ME

We've been married 48 years, have 2 fabulous kids and 4 even more fabulous grandchildren! Traveled around the country with husbands career and finally settled in western Colorado which we love! We live on 40 acres in a straw bale home we built with our own hands (and the hands of a LOT of friends!)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is for living! Don't put things off if you can do them now! And always have a dream that you're working toward - keeps you motivated! I'm definitely a tree-hugger and want a world my grandchildren can live and thrive in!

Just getting started with CouchSurfing but are quite excited about the possibilities it offers!!!

Interests

Love the outdoors,camping,hiking,and fishing.(Husband was a fish in a previous life!) Love animals - have 2 Labs,a young and very energetic Aussie, 3 cats and many chickens. I have way too many hobbies - gardening, sewing, weaving, spinning, etc. but I'm never bored!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love them all! I've found myself reading books I wouldn't have even considered while in school. Getting older certainly has it's perks!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 3 weeks in Italy and France which I still dream about - Fabulous! Spent one of the weeks in a villa in Tuscany with 14 friends - very precious memories!

Love to meet and converse with people from other parts of the country and world - the more you learn about others the more open-minded you become! We are all spiritual beings having a human experience!
