About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live Life

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. I'm outgoing, friendly, reliable and a good travel partner. I like talking to people and hearing different perspectives on the same subject. I'm adventurous and always open to trying new things, whether it's food or places to go. While traveling I can either be laid back or always on the move. I'm not a picky eater and can cook for you if you have a kitchen. I love to play sports and be active.

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy trying new things and opening my eyes to activities and lifestyles I never knew existed. I can never go wrong when trying new things...A friend once said "May we find what we're not looking for, and recognize it when we do."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now just surfing. When I finally settle down, I will definitely offer whatever I have to fellow travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to the couchsurfing community but plan to create meaningful and enjoyable experiences for myself as well as those I spend time with

Interests

Wherever I am, I always try to explore. I'll take different routes to get to the same places I always go, just to see what I can find along the way. Taking new routes and exploring areas I didn't know existed always keeps me on my toes and lets me experience new things on a day to day basis.

Music, Movies, and Books

If the music sounds good, I listen to it. However, I find myself listening to mostly rock, Black Keyes, Led Zepplin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. I enjoy all sorts of movies and have a collection I am more than happy to share. In books, I like biographies/autobiographies. Hearing about other people's lives and how they lived and who they came to be, always amazes me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied abroad on Semester at Sea. SAS is a program where I studied on a ship and sailed around the world visiting 8 different countries in the span of 4 months. It was an experience I will never forget. It opened my eyes to a life of traveling that I never knew existed. It also taught me that traveling isn't just about the places you go, it's about the people you meet along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching anything I know, from sports to food. All you have to do is ask. I want to learn anything that people are passionate about. Learning from passionate individuals makes it so much easier to get involved in the subject. And when it comes to sharing, what's mine is yours.
