ABOUT ME

My name is John, I'm 26 years old and working in Japan now. As for myself, I am friendly, easygoing and open-minded. I don't have any bad habit and I am a neat person too. I seldom stay up late, and have a regular daily schedule. I can adjust the time spending in living place to make sure you can do everything conveniently. If you want anything from Taiwan, I will try my best to bring it to you! Hope we can have a good Couch Surfing experience :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have invited a friend from Shanghai two years ago. That's my first experience of couchsurfing. During that trip I was a tour guide and introduce some Taiwanese culture and history to him. He enjoyed that trip in Taipei and we finally become good friends!

Though most of my couchsurfing experiences are in the East Asia, I still met some hosts come from Europe and America. Japan is an amazing country that attract lots of foreigners, so I want to grab this chance and meet more foreigners, also the local Japanese people.

兴趣

Recently, I am addicted to being a backpacker to travel abroad. I love to experience different living style from countries to countries. Till now, I have visited some of biggest cities in Asia, especially the capital of each Asian country, like Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok.

Instead of natural scenery, I was more enthusiastic about interesting stories in historic figures and cultural heritage when travelling abroad. Not only a fan of historic attraction, I’m also a big fan of public transportation, like train and metro. Every experience to take subway in each country is amazing to me. My interest is not only researching for the difference between every metro system in different cities, but also collecting many kinds of metro tickets as souvenir.

1. Go to visit White House! How strict the security check is!
2. Visit Lincoln Memorial Hall by myself at night! My Taiwanese friends were amazing why I did such dangerous thing, but I was just addicted to the night scene there!

If you are Chinese, I can share my experience when staying in New York and tell you how to save money if you want to taste foreign culture at affordable price.
If you are not Chinese, I will introduce Taiwanese culture to you! More importantly, I want to let you know the difference between China and Taiwan, and explain why foreigners usually think the most appealing scenery in Taiwan is the Taiwanese.
