ABOUT ME

laid back aussie guy. Anything goes. Willing and able to meet and accept all kinds of people. I'm happy to make a fool out myself. Not really worried about anything... because stress is definitely not something we strive for!
I've done some traveling and I cant help it, I want to do some more!!
I am currently on a gap year from work and "normal" life at the moment with my girlfriend. so we are going to enjoy some travels. Our next stop is Europe. we are both return travelers, but cant wait to enjoy it together.

All things important are invisible.
Anything can happen anywhere anytime, be open for it.
Do what YOU want, without hurting others.
If its on your mind, say it, why not.
Pick something you like to do, and go for it, don't just sit around waiting, make it happen. Have fun, and don't take anything too seriously.
being mindful and respectful of other peoples well-being and lifestyle.
Never stop learning and questioning.. there are so many amazing things to learn about in this world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have met some lovely people through this site and have been hosted. I enjoy meeting people from new places and enjoy discussing the never ending and forever interesting avenues that our lives have taken! while I am not able to host anyone at present, i hope I may be able to meet some people in Europe and potentially have some experiences with people from their home countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has been a while since I have had a Couchsurfing experience, so I am looking forward to exploring it again. So far I have met up with people for coffees and drinks, and stayed with people on my travels. I have nothing but positive comments about the people I've met and the experiences I've had. The mindset of the people I meet through this site seems to be on a similar wavelength and it works well!

Interests

Motorsport, mountain biking, snowboarding, travelling, hot weather, trekking, chatting about all sorts of things over a coffe or a drink :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

movies- are great, when im in the mood. so im not really watching movies often but i love watching international movies for the cultural differences. and i love watching documentaries about nature.

books- i feel at one with lonely planet books!but i also enjoy fictional books that arent too far fetched. i like reading about factual things moreso these days. history and current events!

tunes- into mainly electronica, drum n bass, trance and house really get my body moving.I also like alternative, faith no more etc. I also like listening to relaxing chilled stuff, jazz is great. I love music and can always be listening to music, but it depends on the mood as to what genre. For me theres a type of house music for any occasion!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Caring for disabled orphans in Romania was a great experience. As was trekking the Himalayas. renovating my apartment. Surviving London winter without going mad! Watching a solar eclipse in Turkey. Meeting all sorts of folk across the globe!

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't hold back, ask questions, keep active, stay happy (it breeds more happiness), teach others the things you have learned. Being humble is a great thing.
There are so many choices out there and so many things we can do, there is no need to feel negative, just grab these opportunities and go with it!
oh and one other thing, don't stop learning, there's always things out there to learn, especially from other people :-)
