About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy life.

ABOUT ME

I try to enjoy life as much as I can. I'm a pretty simple person- it is not hard to make me happy. I can almost do anything and have fun. As long as I have someone interesting around me, the sky's the limit!!!

I am a strong advocate of ANY AND ALL human rights, support numerous causes, and right now I work at a battered women's shelter as a child advocate. Soon I'll be working on my masters in counseling, eventually the Phd, and then I can skip town once again! I've been back in the U.S. for about 2 years now, after living in South Korea for about a year, and circumventing the globe. I really miss traveling!! But yea, I'll have lots of random stories about some funny stuff I may or may not have done.

PHILOSOPHY

Always take the road less traveled. The most interesting people can come from the most unexpected places. I like to talk. I like to hear the stories of those who come from places different than me. Guess that's why I'm a semi- journalist.

Don't let the material consume you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By providing a couch, showing people around New Orleans, just trying to make traveling experiences better, like so many did for me when I was traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had such a good time in Alexandria, Egypt with my second family, that I decided one of them should return to America with me. So, after I surfed her couch, a month later I was able to host her for almost a month on my couch. It was so amazing to make such a great friend, and now that she's gone, I dont know who's gonna make my coffee for me anymore. ( maybe it could be you????? )

UPDATE!!!!- I surfed with my original Alex family at the end of September, and I had SOOO MUCH FUN again that I am now moving back!

Outside of that, so many other amazing people on my journey. They were wonderful.
