CURRENT MISSION

Living in the U.S, I travel to hike more than to visit cities. I've been hiking in places like the Pyrenees, Dolomites, Scottish Highlands, Toscana, Liguria, the Applachians, The Ardennes, Zimbabwe and Scandinavia.

ABOUT ME

I am older than the hills. I have Border Collies (presently 6 of them) and horses (presently 6 of them, too). I don't watch TV. I read. Listen to music (classic, mainly baroque). For exercise I walk/hike for the health of myself and my dogs.

PHILOSOPHY

Not much to brag about. Not religious. Certainly don't support or even understand organized religion. I Am probably liberal while supporting the European type of social safety nets and government involvement in issues of employment, health care, and education.

Raised a family. All are healthy and well adjusted. What else can beat that?
