Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
Seeing my city with fresh eyes, traveling, and trying new foods as much as I can.
ABOUT ME
I'm basically always looking for an excuse for an adventure or some new restaurant to try. Probably once a week I cook up something I read about that sounded amazing and digging in with friends.
I believe that interesting conversations over good food are the stuff of life.
I adore bike rides and casual hikes.
I've lived in Chad, Togo, Indonesia, USA, and Ethiopia.
PHILOSOPHY
Create, adventure, and play. Have a little of all three in a day and that's a damn fine day.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed in several countries in Europe and had an amazing time meeting new people and learning about their cultures. Here in LA I love to host people or if I can't accommodate that, am happy to give activity / food / going out tips since I've lived in LA for 9 years and know it very well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have surfed in several countries in Europe. Had a blast and met some great people. Have been off the grid working for a few years and am thrilled to have returned to the CS community.
Centres d'intérêt

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Currently reading the LOTR series since somehow, I didn't as a kid. Shameful, I know. So I'm fixing that.
Some great books that come to mind, in no particular order: East of Eden. Atlas Shrugged. The Art of Learning. Wind, Sand, and Stars. Levels of the Game. Ender's Game. The Game of Thrones series. The War of Art.
Movies / TV: I love a good documentary that makes me think without preaching to me (something like Jiro Dreams of Sushi or The Pixar Story), TED talks, comedies, or a good thriller with visceral cinematography.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Running with the bulls in Pamplona was pretty incredible. Looking forward to topping that.
