About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Back in Canada from travelling in Scotland! Free to host.

ABOUT ME

I love the outdoors and I have been all over Western Canada. I have not traveled beyond the borders of North America, but it's something I MUST do within the next 3-4 years of my life. I am currently grounded in "career mode" for a few years while working on my professional designation, but I still travel extensively (just shorter distances!) on weekends and vacations to climb, mountaineer, ski and engage my passion for the outdoors.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't spend your life sitting around - do something!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host, and I like to surf when I have time to travel.

I have couchsurfed with climbers, friends up north, and will be up for wine or scotch if you stop on by.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I regularly host other climbers and friends from Edmonton (my former hometown).

Now that there is a fancy couchsurfing website, I hope to meet more cool people!

Interests

Anything outside, but especially rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, mountain biking, and skiing!

I also love mechanical systems, technology (not goofy iPods, but big ugly industrial machines), cooking, and working out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bicycle toured the Alaska Highway from Edmonton to Whitehorse. Continued to cycle/ferry-hop the coast down to Vancouver, and eventually ended up broke in Golden.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you about the outdoors, I can stand to learn more about other cultures, and I can share with you a love of life and good times.
