About Me

Let's clear some things up. Rational thinking is not my strongest side - I'm an emotional wanderer, who's always somewhere else, that sometimes causes minor problems, like, me always asking people the same questions all over again. But besides that, I really love communicating with others, it's such a wonderful thing to be able to share your experiences with others and hear their unique stories in return. I'd say I'm universal, much like a multi-purposed sofa that everybody has in their living room. Seriously, you can get used to me, I'm pretty chill. I'm a classical music lover and artist. I really enjoy music, since it takes up a pretty big chunk of my life. I guess that art, music and books form a very important critical view to the world, yet add personal slash cultural-ish involvement, so you basically can immerse yourself in this whole abstract mess and still find something individual that would suit your needs. That's why I love art so much. I could talk about it for hours and hours. Traveling is also an important factor that not everybody gets to experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to FEEL the culture. Feel what it FEELS LIKE. I want to see all that there is, but since I'm a millennial with cheap mindset when it comes to materialistic matter, I would say that I value experiences, they're a lot more precious than a five star hotel room somewhere at the end of the world. I'm on CS because I want to meet people, to make new friends, to trade our stories and see the world little by little. I want to show my love to the world. And my amazing cooking skills. But I suck at making pancakes. I always end up burning them 'til death. Rest In Pancakes. Shit, I get carried away easily. What were we talking about?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I get out of my bed every morning, I guess that's an achievement?

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach:
- The secrets of classical singing!
- Lithuanian language and its basics
- The best cold beetroot soup ever, seriously!.. And yes, I'm exaggerating.
- Like, I know a little bit of this and a little bit of that, so I guess I could share my experiences.
- I used to be a blogger, I know a bit about graphic design.
- The highlights of modern meme culture. Well, maybe we won't get deeper into that hole of lost time.
- I know how to make the best chocolate brownies, so you're always welcome to ask me if you have sweet tooth cravings!

I'd like to learn:
- More about your culture
- (If you speak) a foreign language, I'd like to selfishly take advantage of the situation *insert an evil laugh here*
- Basically anything that involves a tasty dish or a cooking technique
- Any weird skill that you possess - like farting with your hands, or even playing the guitar.
- No, seriously, ANYTHING! Even if it's a story of your life!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bring a souvenir from my country if you'd want to. I could share my experiences, funny stories, cooking skills, novels/my essays/books, movies and music, discussions or just simple silence, if you wish. As I mentioned before, I'm the universal sofa type of person.

NOTE: since I'm a student who's living in a small dorm room, I cannot host at the moment, but surely see myself doing that in the near future for sure! I can be a handy guide if you need anybody to guide you through the streets of Vilnius or Bydgoszcz/Warsaw.
