I just finished my graduate studies in Uppsala, Sweden and I am ready for a journey into the unknown. I am excited to meet new people and experience foreign cultures. Moreover, I love exploring nature and enjoy being around animals. I am vegan, but I think everyone has to decide for themselves!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great opportunity for me to learn about the way other people live their lives. During my travels I have stayed in backpacker hostels most of the time which is a great way to meet many people from many different cultures. However, I am also keen to get to know some local people who can show me their favorite spots in the city and share their everyday life with me!

Interests

I enjoy scuba diving and snorkeling because both are great ways to explore marine wildlife in its natural habitat. To me entering the underwater world is also a means of feeling freedom and appreciation of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was scuba diving with a 4 m hammerhead shark in the Great Barrier Reef, Australia. During that moment I was both excited and nervous because I did not even know there were big sharks living around that area. This moment was full of beauty and respect.

I enjoy talking about science and biology but these topics are not limited to school book knowledge. I rather like to spark people's interest in nature and the beauty of life. On the other hand, I am also a good listener and very curious about other people's persepectives on life and the driving forces in life.
