ABOUT ME

My husband (Kevin Kurpe) and I both work mobile occupations as business owners, so we are able to travel the world as long as we have Internet Access. : ) As a result, we sold everything we owned and starting traveling in an RV in 2010 - parking in the yards and driveways of family, friends and even a few strangers. In 2012, we move to Barcelona, Spain and will need to surf a bit while we travel Europe. We would like to meet interesting people who are also world travelers, and make new connections.We are currently renting an apartment in Barcelona, Spain and offer surfing to other travelers. We look forward to meeting you soon - either in our home in Spain, or in yours....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We participate in the local CS group in Barcelona, host couch surfers, meet with couch surfers to show them around, and surf in Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed yet, although I have been doing this since I was 16 - traveling and sleeping on the couches of friends, family and strangers. I've made lifelong friends as a result

We have hosted a variety of surfers here in Barcelona, and we enjoy their company and new friendships.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow! Because I travel so much I have done a lot of amazing things and it's impossible to pick just one!

I surfed (or almost died) in 20 foot waves in Jaco, Costa Rica - camped under a canopy of monkeys, toucans and macaws in southern Costa Rica - built a playground for kids in Baja Mexico - served starving children in Lima, Peru - was shot at in Argentina because I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time (luckily we had body guards with us) - hang glided at 5,000 feet, what a rush - completed a half-marathon in under 2 hours - and hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

I could go on and on, and there isn't one experience that I believe that has been more amazing than the other. They are all awesome!
