ABOUT ME

I'm a 26 year old recent graduate of Oklahoma Wesleyan University who's trying to make it in the world with a history degree and sporadic ambition. Also trying to stay sane in a community of people that I have very little in common with, but still enough to see the beauty in them.

I am the Programs Coordinator at the Westside Community Center in Bartlesville, OK. We're a non-profit United Way agency that seeks to serve the needs of our youth on the west side of town.

I believe education is vital to liberation of the poor and oppressed. However, these forgotten ones often find themselves torn between their oppression and the vanity of their oppressors. I am interested in a different way of living and thinking. It's amazing to have learned such things in a redneck Oklahoma town.
