Hi, I'm Sky! How does one describe themselves over the internet? I am a positive and friendly individual that is on a continuous quest to find my meaning in life. I value using new moments and individuals to create opportunities to expand my mind. I am often occupied with trying to discover in what ways I am in forming my own reality with my thoughts. I simultaneously feel like I want to use my mind to it's fullest extend and try and lose it. I have come to believe in beautiful synchronicities in life that I feel I will never fully understand.

A close friend once told me his response to people's actions was, "If it gets them where they're going!"
(As long as they are not intentionally causing others harm.) To do in life what you feel is right for you is all you can do. To me, there is no way I can say one way is better or worse.

I once read that every person on earth has a life story significant enough to have a book written about it, and it is with this in mind that I try to approach all of my interactions with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing as a way to give back to all of the kindness I received on my travels and to meet new people. And in return, to be able to travel to new places I have not experienced before in ways that allow me to bond with and get to know the people of those places.

Interests

I love playing guitar and am teaching myself how to drum on buckets. I also love rollerblading and long boarding as well as backpacking, skiing and generally spending time outdoors. I love philosophical conversations and learning about people's lives and stories. I am interested in continuously challenging myself to be more compassionate and understanding with others and myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have skills playing guitar and speaking English (native speaker) that I would be more than happy to share with people. I enjoy cooking as well and would be love to share this with kind and patient recipients. I would love to learn more about any musical instrument, especially drums, and would love to learn more of other languages, cultures, ways of cooking, and ways of feeling fulfilled and peaceful.
