I am a long-time musician, having been in the industry for about 30 years, give or take. I still play gigs somewhat infrequently, and I'm always open to making music in an informal setting.
Recently I defended my Ph.D. dissertation in Linguistics and graduated from the University of Victoria. I am currently seeking employment in my field, looking to focus on research primarily, and teaching.

I have yet to utilize this site although I've been on it a few years now. I do travel quite a lot, maybe more than some, probably less than many. But still, being affiliated with this site may prove useful in the future, you never know.
