Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be welcoming to new experiences.
ABOUT ME
I am very outgoing and interested in people. I love intense real connections with others via conversation or experience. I am honest (sometimes to a fault), happy to be where i am, often sarcastic and always up for an adventure.
PHILOSOPHY
Spend time accumulating self-awareness, by putting yourself in new places, and challenging situations as regularly as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think CS is an awesome, altruistic concept. By nature I tend to be a bit cynical, and I want to start clearing that out of my system. :) I plan to participate by being open to all encounters and cultures.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Please do not inquire if you are just trying to avoid a hotel on a business trip. For some reason this has been quite a trend recently.
I have surfed and hosted many times. Every new CS experience is amazing and restores my faith in humanity.
Interests
I cook for a living and love long meals with wine and friends. Camping, I love camping and being outdoors. My cousins own a farm in the country and on my few days off I love to wake up before the sun, drive to the country to watch it rise and then work on the farm harvesting veggies and caring for their animals.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read books about everything I'm interested in. Far more non fiction than fiction. I love film, but find less and less time to stay up with whats out that is really worth watching.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking Half Dome in Yosemite National Park, there are things there I could never describe. A severe thunderstorm that caught me on the way down a mountain after 6 months of not hearing thunder, and all of the state of Alaska, that place is still so untouched and wild.
