I'm free spirited and optimistic, always looking for the good in people (and the world in general)! I love to travel, though I'm not a fan of being a "tourist". I like experiencing life where I am visiting, not observing it. I'm not sure I have a very specific goal in life, except to go where the wind blows and have many stories to share with my friends and family at home!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If I had a place of my own, I'd be all for having people stay with me. I'm living with my family though, and they aren't too keen on having strangers stay in the house (I'm the 'crazy hippy', who thinks that like minded people are never strangers). So for now, I'm just hoping to surf friendly folk's couches until I can return the favor!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've finally couch surfed on my trip to Peurto Rico! It was amazing, and I really can't imagine traveling any other way. The experiences I gained from CouchSurfing are ones that I wouldn't have had if I had stayed in hotels the whole time. I learned a lot, and made some friends in the process :)
