About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to promote organic farming and to establish eco-village in rural Japan
ABOUT ME
I completed MSc of Organic Agriculture at Wageningen University, the Netherlands in August 2011.
For my internship, I spend 6 months in the kingdom of Bhutan, working for 100% organic farming project of GNH commission.
It was very interesting experience to stay with 10 organic farmers in the 30 villages in Bhutan.

after graduation, I am now working for a regional office of agriculture in kyoto, Japan, but often travailing around rural villages in japan for my research on traditional knowledge in rural livelihood, especially about ethnobotany and local cuisine, "kyodo ryori".
also, i started Native Seeds Laboratory to save indigenous variety of seeds and take records on indigenous knowledge on ancient farming systems.
so, i cannot offer a couch now, but If you like to do research on anthropology or organic farming in japan, please contact me.
Enjoy your stay in Japan! :)
